Role SummaryThe Operational Excellence (OE) Lead is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence methodologies. The role focuses on enhancing productivity, reducing waste, improving process efficiency, optimizing costs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with GMP, EHS, and quality standards.
Role Responsibilities* Develop and execute the Operational Excellence (OE) strategy and roadmap in alignment with the Site objectives and operational priorities.
* Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the end-to-end value chain, manufacturing, warehousing, quality operations and engineering.
* Lead and facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, Kaizen events, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and optimize workflows.
* Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including OEE, productivity, cost, quality, waste, and service levels, ensuring sustainable improvements and measurable cost savings.
* Coach, mentor, and train employees at all Site levels on Operational Excellence methodologies, Lean principles, and problem-solving tools to build internal capability and sustain improvements.
* Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and EHS functions to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices across the site.
* Ensure all Operational Excellence initiatives comply with cGMP, Quality, EHS, and regulatory requirements through the development of procedures, audits, monitoring systems, and performance reviews.
* Track, validate, and report the financial and operational benefits achieved through improvement initiatives and transformation projects.
Relevant Experience10 - 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, operational excellence with a strong preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
