Role SummaryTo manage and oversee the Indirect Procurement and Services process by ensuring efficient sourcing, vendor management, and timely procurement of goods and services in compliance with company SOPs and Delegation of Authority (DOA). The role supports procurement strategy execution, cost optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Role Responsibilities* Manage the procurement lifecycle for indirect materials, services, and CAPEX requirements in accordance with company policies and DOA. Review and validate approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure accuracy of specifications, pricing details, and supporting documentation. Initiate and manage RFQs/RFPs to obtain competitive quotations and proposals from suppliers. Conduct supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms while ensuring cost effectiveness.
* Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services to meet organizational requirements. Establish and negotiate payment terms and advance payment arrangements with suppliers in coordination with finance. Prepare and present Comparative Statements (CS) / Rate Approvals and obtain management approvals as per DOA. Oversee the creation of Purchase Orders, Service Orders, and CAPEX Orders in SAP and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
* Coordinate with internal departments to resolve procurement-related queries and provide procurement guidance as per company policies. Lead the end-to-end procurement process for marketing promotions, CME, QCM activities, and routine hotel bookings. Monitor supplier deliveries and payment follow-ups to ensure timely fulfillment of commitments. Oversee advance payment settlements, ensuring timely creation of SES/GRN and invoice parking in SAP.
* Support and implement procurement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost savings. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with procurement objectives.
