Assistant Manager - Priority Banking Acquisition

Organization Unit Purpose

The RBS- Liability and Accounts Unit is the sales channels under Retail banking, catering to the Liability requirements of Emirates NBD & new to bank customers in UAE. The unit’s core responsibility is to increase the market share of Liability Business and function in line with the Group’s overall business strategy.

The Unit is responsible for developing and growing fixed deposits and CASA base for the Retail bank, offering a strong payroll proposition for corporate with best-in-class liability products offers. Creation of integrated sales models for Personal and Priority Banking segments focusing on payroll sourcing, servicing, managing new and existing relationships.

The unit will also focus on cross selling of other retail banking products such as, credit cards, Bancassurance, overdraft, etc. to increase the profitability of the unit and the overall revenue for Retail Bank.

Job Purpose

  • To develop the market share of all Retail banking products and focus on HNW client for PRB segments.
  • Responsible for ensuring sales result for Fixed Deposit, CASA balances and CASA accounts from Salaried & Non-salaried.
  • Maintain consistency on business acquisition and % of approval rates from acquired business sources.
  • Comply with the approved policies, procedures and norms to protect the organizations & customers interest.
  • Work out adoptable sales strategies jointly with branches based on the location.
  • Focused and segmented approach on Business sourcing.
  • Accountable for regular monitoring of client satisfaction and service quality levels by ensuring that client expectations are consistently met and exceeded. Unique contribution of job holder is to achieve given targets and provide new and existing customers high standards of customer service
  • Provide professional and expert advice on products & services to customers and business leads to other units to ensure that business opportunities are realized

Job Description

Relationship Management

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships HNI clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering suitable liability products (CASA, FDs, payroll, etc.)

Sales & Business Development

  • Independently acquiring new liability customers through calling & references.
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly targets for deposits and product cross-selling
  • Generating leads for third-party products (insurance, mutual funds, etc.)

Product Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of liability products – Savings & Current Accounts, Fixed Deposits, Salary Accounts
  • Ability to explain product features, benefits, and processes to customers clearly

Operational & Compliance Know-How

  • Ensuring 100% compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory guidelines
  • Accurately completing all documentation and account opening procedures
  • Coordinating with operations for smooth processing of client requests

Customer Service & Problem Solving

  • Handling client queries, service requests, and grievances independently
  • Providing personalized banking experience and timely resolutions

Digital Banking & Tech-Savvy

  • Promoting and educating customers on digital platforms like mobile banking, net banking, etc.
  • Using CRM tools and core banking systems to track and manage customer portfolios

Self-Motivation & Target Focus

  • Strong drive to meet personal sales goals without supervision
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and stay organized under pressure
