What you'll do:

As we scale our operations across Egypt, we’re looking for a high-impact Assistant manager , Procurement . This role is ideal for a Decisive/resilient and capable candidate ready to drive performance, improve processes, and empower teams in a high-growth, high-intensity environment.

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities across multiple categories:
  • Facility Management – infrastructure development, repairs, and maintenance of warehouses, hubs, fulfillment centers, and offices.
  • Linehaul – sourcing and managing vendors for long-haul transportation.
  • Alternative Delivery Models – identifying and managing vendors for last-mile delivery where in-house hubs are not available.
  • Real Estate – renewing existing leases, scouting and negotiating for new rented warehouse properties.
  • IT – procurement of IT assets, licenses, cabling, and related infrastructure.
  • Packaging Materials – corrugated boxes, paper/poly bags, cushioning materials (bubble wrap, shrink wrap, etc.).
  • Conduct vendor scouting, onboarding, and vendor base management to ensure reliable supply partners.
  • Float RFQs/RFPs, conduct e-auctions, and evaluate vendor proposals for cost, quality, and service.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and commercial terms with vendors to secure cost savings and value-added benefits.
  • Establish dual/multi-sourcing strategies to ensure business continuity and reduce risk.
  • Draft, review, and manage purchase agreements, contracts, and renewals in alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, legal, and other teams for seamless procurement execution.
  • Maintain compliance with company procurement policies and governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain category-specific cost databases, market intelligence, and supplier benchmarks.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports using MS Excel or Google Sheets for decision-making.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.


What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering – MEP preferred).
  • MBA in Supply Chain/Procurement/Operations – desirable but not mandatory.
  • 4–7 years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage complex procurement categories.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and analytics.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build long-term vendor relationships
