Position: Assistant Manager – Procurement
Location: Site Area, Karachi
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Sourcing Managers and Hub Administrators in procurement activities.
- Lead cost-out initiatives, design-to-cost projects, and optimize working capital efficiency.
- Conduct vendor audits, manage new vendor development, and ensure compliance with global standards (e.g., SEDEX).
- Manage tenders, supplier qualification, contract negotiations, and risk assessments.
- Oversee procurement of raw and packing materials with effective planning and budgeting.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Production, QC, Marketing, HR, etc.) to align procurement with business needs.
- Handle end-to-end artwork and packaging material management.
- Execute RFx/eAuctions, train suppliers, and support e-procurement initiatives.
- Prepare MIS reports, monitor KPIs, and track savings progress.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of P2P processes, vendor management, and supplier compliance.
- Proficiency in e-sourcing tools, RFx/eAuctions, and ERP/SAP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with high integrity and a continuous improvement mindset.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Gross Salary: Approx. PKR 150,000/-
- 2.5 Fixed Bonus
