Experience:- 5 to 8 years of experience in food procurement (F&B industry, hotels, QSR chains, retail, or related sectors)
Responsibilities:-
- Ensure consistent supply of fresh, high-quality produce by coordinating with local markets, vendors, and distributors.
- Conduct daily quality checks and ensure all procured items meet Wonderla’s hygiene and freshness standards.
- Track consumption patterns and coordinate closely with the F&B team to forecast daily and weekly requirements.
- Negotiate prices with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising on quality.
- Identify and onboard reliable suppliers; maintain strong vendor relationships and performance evaluations.
- Review market trends, rate fluctuations, and season-based availability to optimize purchasing strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels, minimize wastage, and coordinate timely deliveries to the central stores and F&B counters.
- Ensure adherence to food safety norms, procurement SOPs, and internal control processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation including purchase orders, GRNs, rate contracts, and supplier records.
- Coordinate with Finance for timely invoice processing, billing issues, and vendor payments.
- Assist the Manager – Procurement in planning, budgeting, and optimizing cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports including cost analysis, supplier performance, and consumption trends
Requirements:
• Proven experience in food procurement, preferably in hospitality, amusement parks, hotels, FMCG, or restaurant chains.
- Good understanding of local markets and perishable supply chains.
- Strong eye for quality, freshness, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to handle high-volume procurement and multiple vendor interactions.
- Proficiency in English and Tamil is preferred.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
