Position: Assistant Manager – Procurement
Location: DHA Phase 2, Islamabad
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for construction projects (office & site coordination)
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements
- Handle purchase orders, quotations, and vendor comparisons
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and develop new suppliers
- Monitor market trends and pricing for cost optimization
- Coordinate with project/site teams for smooth procurement operations
Requirements
- Education: MBA / BBA (Preferably in Supply Chain Management)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in procurement within construction or real estate industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Hands-on experience with BOQs, tendering, and site procurement
- Good understanding of local market (Islamabad/Rawalpindi region)
- Proficient in MS Office (ERP knowledge will be a plus)
