e are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Procurement to oversee the procurement of MEP and construction materials for ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience, strong supplier management skills, and the ability to negotiate competitive pricing while ensuring timely material delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction and MEP industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP and construction materials, suppliers, and market trends.
- Experience in vendor sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement processes, inventory management, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of MEP and construction materials for projects.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with project teams to understand material requirements and procurement schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Track material deliveries and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Prepare procurement reports and supplier performance evaluations.
