Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Purchasing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers for raw materials to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; monitor performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal raw material stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Cost Control: Analyze market trends, forecast price fluctuations, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records of purchase orders and contracts.
- Reporting: Prepare regular procurement reports, including spend analysis and budget adherence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in [industry—e.g., FMCG, manufacturing, chemical].
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations is a plus.
