Position: Assistant Manager – Production & Quality

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Experience: 3–5 years in a relevant field (prior experience in the steel industry will be preferred)

Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily production activities for CTL, slitter, and reshear lines.

- Coordinate closely with the planning team to ensure accurate production schedules and smooth execution.

- Supervise operators, manage shift manpower, and ensure compliance with safe working practices.

- Implement and monitor safety procedures and 5S standards across production areas.

- Analyze downtime, productivity, yield, and machine breakdown trends to improve performance.

- Conduct problem analysis, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

- Anticipate potential operational risks and develop advanced plans to avoid recurring issues.

- Oversee material handling processes to prevent damage and ensure smooth workflow.

- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational errors.

- Build, guide, and motivate teams; lead team leaders and conduct regular performance review meetings.

- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation and records.

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown handling and preventive maintenance activities.

- Take full responsibility for achieving production targets and improving overall operational efficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs130,000.00 per month
