Assistant Manager – Project Engineer

We are urgently hiring Assistant Manager – Project Engineer for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings including piping layouts, pressure vessels, and heat exchanger designs.
• Develop plant layouts and assist in overall project lifecycle activities such as planning, procurement coordination, construction supervision, monitoring, and control.
• Support project execution, commissioning, and handover of completed works.
• Assist in defining project scope, preparing bid documentation, and participating in contract review and award processes.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables and quality execution of works.
• Monitor contractor performance and facilitate effective project implementation in line with schedules and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and promote safe working practices across all project phases.
• Apply relevant engineering codes and standards related to piping systems, pressure equipment, and heat exchangers (ASME, API, TEMA, etc.).
• Utilize engineering and project management software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and related tools.

Requirements

• B.E. Mechanical from a recognized/reputable university.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery, or Oil & Gas industries.
• Hands-on experience in piping design, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and plant layout development.
• Practical exposure to project planning, procurement, construction supervision, and commissioning activities.

Salary: Up to 350K
