Assistant Manager – Project Sales -(PHR/1010/1)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Project Sales to develop and manage business opportunities within the cement, construction manufacturing, or paint industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering along with proven experience in project sales, client relationship management, and business development for large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

Identify and develop new project sales opportunities in construction, infrastructure, industrial, and commercial sectors.

Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, builders, architects, developers, and key decision-makers.

Generate leads through market research, networking, and client visits.

Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.

2. Project Coordination

Coordinate with technical, production, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution of projects.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to clients when required.

3. Client Relationship Management

Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.

Handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and contract discussions professionally.

Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints effectively.

4. Market Intelligence

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market feedback to management.

Identify emerging opportunities in infrastructure and construction projects.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, project progress, and client interactions.

Prepare periodic sales reports and presentations for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standard.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Electrical).

MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

3–6 years of experience in project sales, B2B sales, or technical sales.

Experience in cement, paint, construction materials, electrical products, industrial manufacturing, or related industries preferred.

Proven track record in handling institutional or project-based customers.

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
