Job Opportunity – Assistant Manager (Supply Chain Management)
Location: Meridian Hospital, Kolathur, Chennai

Meridian Hospital is seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Management to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, vendor coordination, and logistics.
• Ensure availability of medical consumables, equipment, and hospital supplies without interruption to patient care.
• Monitor purchase orders, stock levels, and delivery timelines to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure cost-effective rates while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement best practices in supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, consumption, and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Finance, Stores, and User Departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Lead and guide the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports and present supply chain performance to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP / inventory management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
