  • Create, Review and process purchase order in accordance with company policy
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedule and payment terms
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with supplier to ensure reliable supply chains
  • Issue PO and ensure timely delivery of materials also resolve any delays or issues.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities for the products like Bearings, Insulation, Cables, Copper, Paint, Blower, Fan Covers, VCI Covers, etc
  • Develop and maintain strategies to reduce procurement cost without compromising on quality
  • Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure optimal stocks level.
  • Maintain accurate record of procurement activities, supplier performance and item specifications
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, Cost savings and supplier performance for management review

Desired candidate profile :

  • Proven 7+ years experience in handling end to end purchase activities
  • Strong understanding of procurement process and best practices
  • Experience with ERP software would be an added advantage
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
