Position: Assistant Manager - Purchase

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Purchase to oversee the procurement of hardware items, building materials, construction items, and machine tools for our trading company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the procurement process and experience working in the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for hardware, building materials, construction items, and machine tools.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors in the Gulf region.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best prices and terms.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in procurement activities.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or hardware industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Knowledge of the Gulf region's market dynamics and business practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
