Key responsibilities

  • Purchasing and negotiation:
  • Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, services, and capital goods.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms with suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure they are accurately entered into the company's system.
  • Inventory management:
  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs to ensure optimal inventory control.
  • Create and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct stock audits and inventory reconciliations.
  • Vendor management:
  • Manage and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on cost, quality, service, and delivery.
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Analysis and strategy:
  • Monitor and analyze purchasing trends and market prices to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide support for the development and implementation of procurement policies and strategies.
  • Perform cost analyses and evaluate alternative suppliers.
  • Operations and compliance:
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure product quality and smooth operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
