  • Purpose of Position

  • To ensure all civil and façade works at site and vendor locations are executed in strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
  • The role aims to maintain transparency and consistency in quality control by independently inspecting materials, workmanship, and documentation while ensuring that all non-conformities are effectively identified, reported, and closed through corrective and preventive actions.
  • The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy
  • Major Responsibilities

    • Conduct day-to-day inspections of civil and façade works as per approved QAP, ITP, and Method Statements.
      • Verify that contractors adhere to the mutually approved QAP and ITP at all stages of construction and installation.
      • Review and validate Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and ensure compliance of materials with relevant IS/ASTM/EN standards.
      • Carry out factory-level inspections at vendors such as Saint-Gobain and aluminium extrusion suppliers to verify quality of DGU panels, glass, and aluminium profiles.
      • Inspect executed works for conformity with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
      • Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, NCRs, CAPA validations, and quality clearance certificates.
      • Review laboratory testing setups (internal/external) and verify calibration of instruments.
      • Furnish Daily Inspection Reports, Non-Conformance Reports, Weekly and Monthly Quality Reports.
      • Monitor closure of NCRs through review and validation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
      • Communicate inspection findings, material approvals, and quality observations with Project Head and Client QA team.
      • Support continual improvement by identifying repetitive issues and recommending preventive actions.
      • Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

      Compliance: Adherence to approved QAP, ITP, and project specifications in all inspections.
      • Accuracy: Quality and completeness of inspection records, NCRs, and reports.
      • Timeliness: Timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
      • Effectiveness: Closure rate and validation quality of NCRs and CAPAs.
      • Independence: Integrity and objectivity in inspection decisions and reporting.
      • Documentation: Maintenance of clear, traceable, and auditable inspection records.
      • Client Feedback: Responsiveness and professionalism in coordination with client teams.
      • Safety & Compliance: Adherence to site safety norms and company quality procedures.
      • Qualification and Experience

      Graduate in Civil, with masters preferably in Civil engineering with experience as Third party Quality Assurance auditor with 10 years of similar experience.
      • Skills & Qualities:

      Strong understanding of civil and façade construction processes and materials.
      • Sound knowledge of QAP, ITP, IS/ASTM/EN codes, and façade system standards.
      • Proficiency in inspection documentation, data management, and reporting formats.
      • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
      • Good analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
      • Integrity, accountability, and a methodical approach to quality control.
      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients.
      • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent judgment in quality assessments.
      • Should be able to manage a team under him.
      • Should have a pleasing personality
      • Good communication skills.
