The Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting will play a key role in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. The role also supports audits, strengthens internal controls, and contributes to financial analysis and management reporting. In addition, this position involves supervising junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing timely and accurate financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and relevant regulations.
- Support external and internal audit processes, providing necessary documentation and responses.
- Enhance and monitor internal controls over financial reporting.
- Conduct variance analysis and support management in reporting activities.
- Supervise, coach, and develop junior team members.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, IT, and other teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and special financial projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
