Position: Assistant Manager – Retail

Location: Karachi

About the Role

We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Retail for one of our reputable non-profit sector client. The role requires strong operational oversight, ethical retail management, and support for fundraising and donor-compliant retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise retail staff and volunteers to ensure efficient, ethical, and compliant operations

· Ensure proper handling, documentation, and storage of donated goods and retail inventory

· Support fundraising targets through effective retail sales and community engagement

· Maintain transparency, accountability, and compliance with organizational policies and SOPs

· Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and loss prevention

· Support cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and coordination with the Finance team

· Ensure store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and branding standards

· Prepare operational and performance reports for management and donors

· Promote the organization’s mission, programs, and values through retail activities

· Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Management, Education, or a related field

· Master’s degree (MBA / MHA / MPhil) will be preferred

· 5–7 years of relevant experience in retail operations, preferably within the non-profit sector

· Strong understanding of non-profit program cycles and donor compliance

· Report writing, documentation, and basic data management skills

· High ethical standards and strong commitment to organizational values
