Responsibilities

Business Development:-

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for CFS services.

Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers.

Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and service requirements.

Provide timely updates and resolve customer issues effectively.

Sales & Negotiation:

Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.

Negotiate rates and terms to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.

Provide feedback to management for strategic decision-making.

Coordination:
-
Work closely with operations, documentation, and billing teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.

Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and other stakeholders for service delivery
Performance Metrics

Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.

Customer acquisition and retention.

Market share expansion in assigned territory.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.

Experience: 5-7 years in sales within CFS, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.

Familiarity with EDI systems and shipping line coordination is an advantage.
