Responsibilities

  • Business Development:-
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for CFS services.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and service requirements.
  • Provide timely updates and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Sales & Negotiation:
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate rates and terms to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
  • Provide feedback to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Coordination:
  • Work closely with operations, documentation, and billing teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and other stakeholders for service delivery

Performance Metrics

  • Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
  • Customer acquisition and retention.
  • Market share expansion in assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years in sales within CFS, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
  • Familiarity with EDI systems and shipping line coordination is an advantage.
