We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asst Manager Sales / Sr Executive Sales to drive Ocean/ Air Freight business development and acquisition efforts in the UAE market. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, fostering relationships with customers across various industries, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Lead the strategic planning and execution of business development activities for the Ocean/ Air Freight. Identify potential customers, explore new markets, and create effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their unique logistics requirements and present tailored solutions which may include Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
- Sales Execution: Execute the strategies to achieve targets and objectives. Meet the monthly goals given by management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams, including operations, customer service, and technology, to ensure smooth customer onboarding, service delivery, and issue resolution
Key activities
· Identify and develop potential, sustainable customer relationships
- Develop and maintain strong existing corporate customer relations and loyalty
- Respond to corporate customer RFI, RFQ (Request for Information, Request for Quote) and Tenders
- Generate reports for management team.
- Map all the identified Key Accounts for the vertical / region. Profile business potential of the designated accounts.
- Understand the customer’s business requirements & position our services accordingly. Create tailor made solutions as required.
- Create a detailed customer plan for each customer in the portfolio.
- Set up processes for maintenance of existing customers with the help of the Commercial head (CH).
- Ensure regular updation in Sales CRM.
- Monitoring business performance against budget on a monthly basis.
- Identify business opportunities and device strategy with the support of the RSM, BM CH and implement them.
- Grow Business based on the target set for each of the customer as per the plan
- Prepare monthly report on customer performance & future trends & submit to the CH & RSM.
- Keep customers informed of organizational and industry changes relevant to the product.
- Plan, organize and work with colleagues from product and customer service departments to deliver up to the customer’s requirement

Expected Years of Experience
5 - 8 years of sales in the freight forwarding / shipping and logistics industry.
Expected Educational Qualifications
Bachelors / Master’s Degree from a reputed institute.
