Assistant Manager Security

Location: Bahria Town Karachi

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager Security to oversee and manage the overall security operations of a residential housing society. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, visitors, community facilities, and society assets through effective security planning, crowd management, conflict resolution, and supervision of security personnel.

  • Manage day-to-day security operations of the housing society, including main gates, check posts, community facilities, and public areas.
  • Supervise and monitor security guards, supervisors, and control room staff to ensure efficient security coverage.
  • Ensure effective access control and visitor management at entry and exit points.
  • Oversee road security, traffic flow, parking management, and enforcement of society regulations.
  • Handle crowd management during community events, gatherings, religious occasions, and emergencies.
  • Address and resolve security-related complaints, resident disputes, and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify security risks and recommend corrective measures.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and security equipment.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities related to accidents, security incidents, fire emergencies, and public disturbances.
  • Prepare incident reports, security assessments, and management reports.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and relevant authorities when required.
  • Ensure security staff are properly trained, disciplined, and deployed according to operational requirements.
  • Implement and enforce society security policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • 4–6 years of relevant security management experience, preferably in a housing society, gated community, township, or large residential project.
  • Strong knowledge of community security operations, access control, crowd management, and emergency response procedures.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, public dealing, and handling sensitive security situations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions during emergencies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retired Armed Forces personnel (Officer, JCO, or NCO) with relevant security management experience will be preferred.
  • Experience in managing large teams of security guards and supervisors.
  • Certification in Security Management, Safety, or Emergency Response will be an added advantage.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
