Job Description
To keep mission-critical SCADA systems running smoothly for a high-throughput oil terminal. Develop small-footprint .NET utilities, write Python scripts, tune SQL queries, and troubleshoot live process data.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain & enhance existing SCADA HMI/PLC interfaces (.NET C# add-ins, Python tools, REST/OPC calls).
Write optimized SQL queries, views and reports for tank gauging, batch tracking, and compliance dashboards. Respond to control-room incidents: diagnose data-flow alarms, logs, network or database bottlenecks; implement quick fixes.
Support monthly patching, backups and disaster-recovery drills; document changes in an ISO 9001/QHSE environment Collaborate with electrical/instrumentation teams on new sensor integrations and acceptance testing.

Qualifications:
BS/BEng in Computer Science, Software Engineering, 0–1-year relevant experience preferred.
Programming: 1 yr. hands-on in C#/.NET (Win Forms/WPF or ASP.NET)
Scripting: Python 3 (data parsing, automation, simple APIs)
Databases: Solid SQL (T-SQL or MySQL), basic schema design, query optimization
Familiarity with PLC/RTU protocols (OPC UA, Modbus or similar)
Understanding of industrial networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
Knowledge of OT cybersecurity guidelines (ISA/IEC 62443)
Ignition SCADA exposure
