Key Responsibilities:
- Extend complete support to the Manager Stores in overseeing the efficient operation, inventory control, and staff supervision across all stores of the company.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records across all stores.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Support periodic physical stock counts and reconciliation.
- Help implement and monitor SOPs related to receiving, storage, and issuance.
- Supervise storekeepers and helpers under the direction of the Manager.
- Address daily operational issues and escalate where necessary.
- Ensure storage conditions for food, fuel, and other sensitive items meet safety requirements.
- Support inspections and ensure HSE guidelines are followed in all stores.
- Prepare preliminary stock reports and consumption summaries.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and finance for supply planning and issue resolution.
- Flag low-stock or slow-moving items to the Manager.
- Assist in training new staff on store policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of accountability, cleanliness, and safety in store areas.
- Provide backup support in the absence of storekeepers or the Manager.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8-10 years experience in related domains.
- Proven experience in inventory/store management, preferably across diverse categories.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and inventory control software.
- Familiarity with HACCP, HSE, or ISO standards is a plus.
