Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- Bachelors / Diploma in a relevant field (such as Media Studies, Film & Television, Multimedia Production, or any related discipline).
- 5 years of experience in managing media production studios, including a solid background in video recording and editing processes.
Desirable:
- Masters in a relevant field (such as Media Studies, Film & Television, Multimedia Production, or any related discipline).
- Experience in leading diverse media productions, managing studio upgrades, mentoring creative teams, creating educational content, and demonstrating advanced technical and storytelling skills in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Operations & Support
- Assist in scheduling, organizing, and overseeing studio sessions for course recordings.
- Operate and manage video/audio equipment during shoots.
- Ensure studio readiness, including lighting, background, and technical setup.
Design & Visual Content Support:
- Work with faculty and content teams to design engaging educational visuals (slides, animations, infographics).
- Support in storyboarding and structuring course videos for maximum clarity and impact.
- Collaborate with the media team to maintain brand consistency across all visuals.
Video Editing & Post-Production:
- Support the post-production team in editing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar tools.
- Ensure audio-visual quality, consistency in transitions, lower thirds, intros/outros, etc.
- Apply motion graphics or interactive visual elements to enhance learning content.
Project Management & Coordination:
- Track production timelines and ensure content is delivered on schedule.
- Maintain communication with faculty and internal teams to gather feedback and make revisions.
- Help in archiving and maintaining digital assets and documentation for all projects.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Essential:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in handling video recording and editing software, including but not limited to Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Technical knowledge of video production equipment (cameras, lighting, sound systems, etc.).
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable:
- Media production workflows, instructional design basics
- Audio-visual equipment, Adobe Creative Suite
- Studio operations, content delivery, and LMS familiarity
- Video editing, motion graphics, lighting, and camera operation
- Visual storytelling, project coordination, and creative problem-solving
- Visualize abstract ideas, multitask, adapt to new tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior staff
- Detail-oriented, effective communicator, organized leader

- Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
