Compensation
Salary range $73,276 -$103,729 (Grade H/342)

Responsibilities
This position is accountable for assisting in the management, coordination, development and production of efficient and reliable train timetables and crew work programs for NYCT subway lines and subway employees. Prepares supplemental timetables and work programs for temporary Subway route diversions and special events. Analyzes and evaluates ridership data on subway operations.

Education and Experience
A baccalaureate degree required, major fields of study: Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Planning or Transportation Planning or a closely related field; with 2 years of related experience of which 1 year must be in a supervisory/management/administrative capacity
or a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience

Preferred
Knowledge of the routes and operating practices of the subway networks that comprise the NYC Transit system.
Knowledge of MTA NYCT rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Desired Skills
Experience in schedule making related to subway operations.
Knowledge of automated scheduling data processing systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
