Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Operations

Supply Chain & Operations

• Assist in planning and executing supply chain operations from procurement to delivery
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and reduce excess/obsolete inventory
• Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams to meet demand requirements
• Track order fulfillment, lead times, and service levels

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Support sourcing activities and vendor negotiations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
• Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) and drive improvements

Logistics & Distribution

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations
• Optimize transportation routes and freight costs
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze supply chain data and KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy)
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvement initiatives

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Support implementation of lean, cost-reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in ERP/SAP/Oracle system usage and process optimization

Team Coordination

• Guide and support junior staff or executives
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for smooth operations

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs140,000.00 - Rs160,000.00 per month
