Assistant Manager – Tendering (Civil Maintenance Projects)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Tendering with a strong background in civil maintenance works, small construction projects, and building services.

The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in quantity surveying, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and project cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates.

Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work.

Handle rate analysis, budgeting, and cost control.

Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison statements.

Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.

Monitor project variations and contract administration.

Conduct site visits for quantity verification and progress assessment.

Support tender preparation and submission processes.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

Minimum 10 years of experience in civil works, maintenance contracts, and renovation projects.

Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and rate analysis.

Familiarity with plumbing and building services quantities preferred.

Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software.

Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

GCC project experience preferred.

Site experience will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD1,000.000 - BD1,225.000 per month
