Role Overview:
Asteri Beauty is seeking an Assistant Training Manager to support the execution of training and development initiatives across retail teams. Reporting to the Training Manager and working closely with the Head of Sales, Education and Real Estate, this role will assist in delivering impactful training programs that enhance retail performance, customer experience, and brand excellence.
Based in our Riyadh HQ with frequent field presence, the Assistant Training Manager will play a key role in coordinating training activities, supporting content delivery, and ensuring consistency in education standards across stores and wholesale partners.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a field-based role requiring regular store visits:

Support the Training Manager and key stakeholders in identifying training needs and implementing action plans to drive retail performance.

Assist in delivering training programs for frontline teams, including Brand Training, Product Knowledge, Sales Techniques, and Basic Make-Up Artistry.

Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires across retail and head office functions.

Monitor training participation and assist in tracking KPIs and training effectiveness.

Conduct store visits to observe team performance, provide on-ground coaching, and report findings to the Training Manager.

Support the execution and maintenance of training calendars and schedules.

Assist in the development and upkeep of digital training platforms and learning materials.

Coordinate and distribute training communications such as newsletters and updates.

Ensure consistency in customer experience and service standards by supporting mystery shopping initiatives and feedback analysis.

Work closely with retail teams to reinforce CRM initiatives and customer engagement practices.

Support retail events and product launches by assisting in team preparation, training, and on-site coaching.

Gather feedback from store teams and highlight opportunities for improvement in training and operations.

Stay informed on product updates, brand guidelines, and competitor activities to support training relevance.
The Candidate:
Key attributes of an Assistant Training Manager include:

1–3 years of experience in training, retail operations, or a related field (beauty industry experience is a plus).

Exposure to retail and/or wholesale environments, preferably within the GCC.

Strong interest in training, coaching, and people development.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Good knowledge of customer service excellence and sales techniques.

Organized with strong coordination and follow-up skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office..

Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
