Assistant Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

Assists the Director/ Senior Manager in the planning and execution of marketing and communication strategies and campaigns of the department. Takes charge of day-to-day project flow of in-house and external resources team for all integrated marketing campaigns, projects/requests, and media.


Responsibilities:

  • Assists in managing the marketing team.
  • Creates written plans for new marketing initiatives, including budget allocation, message development, creative direction, target audiences, timelines, and/or other related issues.
  • Develops and designs proposals, advertisements, internal communication pieces, web pages, and/or other related collateral materials and participates and oversees the production of such materials by providing direction to applicable individuals.
  • Supervises administrative professionals.
  • Participates in hiring, evaluating, training, disciplining, and recommending discharge of staff as necessary.
  • Positions in this classification may perform all or some of the responsibilities above and all positions perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environment
  • Background in graphic design with a strong creative portfolio
  • Experience in content creation and online community moderation
  • Hands-on experience managing digital marketing campaigns and analyzing performance metrics
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research and deliver actionable insights
  • Support in developing marketing strategies and managing projects from concept to execution
  • Experience in brand management, building brand awareness, and overseeing marketing budgets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts, Journalism, Marketing or any Business-related course.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Speak, type and/or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
