Assistant Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer for one of our client organization in the Tableware & Glass Manufacturing sector. The role involves overseeing mechanical maintenance, equipment performance, and production efficiency within the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and production machinery.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor plant equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure proper installation and alignment of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with electrical and production teams for operational efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial setup.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and equipment optimization.
• Ability to work under pressure in a production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in glass, ceramics, or FMCG manufacturing.

Familiarity with CAD tools and maintenance management systems.
