Assistant Merchandiser (Processing)

Shams & Brothers is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser (Processing) to join our Processing Merchandising Department. This role is ideal for individuals with strong coordination, analytical, and organizational skills who can act as a bridge between marketing, production, and processing teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage sales orders, contracts, and processing operations.
• Coordinate dyeing, printing, re-dyeing, and sample/strike-off processes.
• Maintain WIP (Work-in-Process) updates, lab dip approvals, and daily production status.
• Act as a liaison between market teams and processing mills for timely communication and issue resolution.
• Oversee lot closing, dispatch planning, and fabric inventory control.
• Prepare internal order sheets, processing reports, and daily/weekly/monthly sales & stock updates.
• Assist production and quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with standards.
• Handle processor rates, files, and cash transactions for processing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising/Textiles/Business or related field (Diploma/Certification in Merchandising is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of dyeing, printing, and textile merchandising functions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel & reporting tools.
• Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and multitask with a proactive, can-do attitude.
