Assistant Nurse – EYFS Nursery (Dubai)

About Us

Cherry Tree Nursery is a British EYFS curriculum nursery that provides a warm, nurturing, and safe environment for young children to learn and grow. We are looking for a caring and responsible Assistant Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery in providing basic health care and first aid to children and staff.
• Monitor children’s health, hygiene, and safety throughout the day.
• Assist with administering first aid and medication (as per doctor’s prescription and parental consent).
• Maintain accurate medical and accident records.
• Ensure the clinic and medical supplies are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist in daily health checks for children (temperature, minor illnesses, etc.).
• Communicate with parents regarding any health concerns or incidents, under the supervision of the Nursery Manager.
• Follow all nursery health, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Support with general hygiene and cleanliness routines in the nursery when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with children (nursery, school, or pediatric setting preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and responsible personality.
• Basic first aid and CPR knowledge.
