Assistant Nurse

Position Overview:

This position holder is responsible for supporting the Women s Health Department with providing care for the mother and baby. Key responsibilities include assisting nursing staff with clinical and non clinical tasks in ensuring postpartum care support. Another responsibility is to support lactation consultants to help assess mothers with breastfeeding techniques, addressing challenges such as latching difficulties or low milk supply, and offering guidance on expressing and storing breast milk. They will collaborate with healthcare teams to promote a breastfeeding-friendly environment by advocating for supportive policies and initiatives.
