ASSISTANT NURSE

Position: Assistant Nurse

Job Summary

The Assistant Nurse will support the nursing team in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and timely assistance. The role includes routine clinical tasks, patient monitoring, and maintaining proper hygiene and documentation under the supervision of senior nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior nurses and doctors in daily patient care activities.
• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration).
• Support in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Provide basic nursing care such as bathing, feeding, positioning, and mobility support.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control standards in the ward.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and daily nursing notes.
• Assist in medication administration as per instructions from registered nurses.
• Support during medical procedures and emergencies.
• Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
