Patient Care – Job Description

Female candidate Required

Position: Patient Care / Caregiver
Location: Somatane Phata, Taluka Maval, Pune
Workplace: Old Age Home

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist elderly residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support patients with mobility, including walking, transferring, and using wheelchairs or walkers.
• Serve meals and assist residents who need help with feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs as required (BP, pulse, temperature).
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and surroundings.
• Provide basic first aid and report any health changes to the supervisor immediately.
• Administer medicines as per instructions from the Nurse/Doctor.
• Offer emotional support and maintain a friendly, caring environment.
• Assist in maintaining patient records, daily logs, and reporting.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and operational protocols of the old age home.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10th/12th pass (preferred).
• Prior experience in patient care, nursing assistant, or caregiving (preferred but not mandatory for dedicated candidates).
• Basic knowledge of elder care and hygiene practices.
• Ability to handle elderly residents with patience, compassion, and respect.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting or assisting residents when required.

• Commitment to providing quality care.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Salary: As per experience and organizational norms.
