Assists the Registered Nurse in planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.
Is responsible to maintain up to date clinical knowledge and self-directed ongoing education.
Completes annual education requirements. Maintains regulatory requirements.
Attends and participates in annual review and department in-services, as scheduled.
Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Actively participates in Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
Complies with all organizational policies.

8. QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
PREFERRED
Education
Graduate from a recognized nursing school (minimum 2 yrs)
ACLS (for adult patients)
Experience
1 years minimum clinical experience plus 6 months recent experience with ventilated patients (i.e. extra 6 months adult ventilated patients for adult AN’s and extra 6 months pediatric ventilated patients for pediatric AN’s)
Long term care or rehabilitation experience
Certification and Licensure
Current valid registration in country of training and/or country of last employment
Job Specific Knowledge and Skills
Up to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues
Able to speak Arabic
