Job Description:

The Assistant Officer – DAE Mechanical is responsible for supporting the mechanical maintenance team in ensuring smooth machine operations, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety and performance standards. This role involves assisting in inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining accurate documentation to support maintenance and production processes.

Qualification & Experience:

• DAE (Mechanical) from a recognized institute.
• Fresh to 01 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (fresh candidates with strong technical skills may also apply).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts when required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machines.
• Record maintenance activities, inspection findings, and machine performance data with accuracy.
• Identify mechanical issues and report non-conformities to senior maintenance staff.
• Support in implementing corrective and improvement actions to reduce machine downtime.
• Monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Assist during audits, safety inspections, and compliance assessments related to machinery.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure machines meet operational and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols, company maintenance procedures, and industry regulations.
