Assistant Operation Managers

Position: Assistant Operations Manager

Language Requirement: Arabic speaking

Qualifications:

1. Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural) is mandatory.
• Registration: Must be a Consultant Engineer registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). (Note: This is critical for local regulatory compliance and firm classification).

2. Professional Experience

• Total Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the engineering and consultancy sector.

3. Language & Cultural Requirements

• Language: Fluency in Arabic (writing, reading, and speaking) is mandatory for client negotiations and internal communication.

4. Certifications & Licenses

• Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI.

5. Personal Attributes

• Leadership: Ability to lead multicultural teams and act as a bridge between the technical engineering staff and the C-suite executives.
• Client Relations: Must possess a "Consultant's demeanor" with the ability to present to government clients (e.g., Ministries, AMANAs, Royal Commission).
• Problem Solving: Strong decision-making skills under pressure, particularly regarding project delays or technical disputes.
• Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Saudi market, including familiarity with government tenders (Etimad) and municipal approval processes.
