Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to support daily hotel operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth front office operations, high service standards, and strong team performance while maintaining Hilton brand consistency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, guest-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations including front desk, guest services, housekeeping coordination, and breakfast operations
- Ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out experiences with a focus on service excellence
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery in a professional and timely manner
- Support front office scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage to ensure operational efficiency
- Monitor room inventory, availability, and daily operational reports using hotel systems
- Ensure compliance with Hampton Inn / Hilton brand standards and quality assurance programs
- Train, coach, and support front desk and operational team members
- Assist in managing room revenue, occupancy tracking, and operational reporting
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and quality standards
- Support inventory control for operational supplies and cost management initiatives
- Review guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve service and operations
Systems & Technology
- Must have experience working with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Hands-on experience with Hilton PEP (Property Engagement Platform) is required
- Ability to manage reservations, check-ins/outs, and room inventory within PEP
- Comfortable using hotel reporting tools and basic operational dashboards
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel front office, operations, or hospitality management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of hotel KPIs such as occupancy, ADR, and guest satisfaction scores
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Hampton Inn or Hilton brand hotels
- Prior Assistant Manager, Front Office Supervisor, or Operations Supervisor experience
- Familiarity with Hilton brand standards and audit processes
- Experience training and developing front desk teams

Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
