Shurooq Al Salam Transport is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to manage vehicle records, driver documentation, and daily operational tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, monitor fleet activities, and maintain seamless communication between drivers, management, and clients. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:1. Record Keeping & Documentation:
- Maintain and update vehicle records, including registration, insurance, inspections, and maintenance logs.
- Organize and file driver documents (licenses, permits, certifications) ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Make the track of all records of Salik, Darb, Asateel Permits.
- Track and manage fuel logs, trip records, and operational expenses for reporting purposes.
- Ensure all transport and rental agreements are properly documented and archived.
2. Operations Support:
- Monitor daily fleet operations, including vehicle assignments, driver schedules, and job completion.
- Assist in dispatch coordination, ensuring timely and efficient task execution.
- Keep an active log of all operational activities (deliveries, repairs, rentals) for management review.
- Identify and report any operational inefficiencies or compliance issues.
3. Communication & Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between drivers, workshop staff, and management for smooth operations.
- Provide real-time updates on vehicle status, delays, or issues to relevant teams.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding vehicle availability, documentation, or service updates.
- Assist in preparing daily/weekly operational reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 1-2 years in logistics, transport operations, Must have knowledge of trnasport field and expeirence in transport for Salik, Darb, Asateel Permits
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), record-keeping software, and basic fleet management tools.
- Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication (English, Hindi and Urdu).
Keen attention to detail for accurate documentation.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Education: High school diploma (minimum); additional certification in logistics or administration is a plus.
