Position Title: Assistant Parish Administrator
Location: Our Lady of Victory Parish, Northville
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Parish Administrator

Position Summary:
Our Lady of Victory Parish in Northville, MI is seeking a mission-driven, organized, and proactive individual to serve as our Assistant Parish Administrator. This key leadership support role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the parish, with a particular emphasis on human resources management and administrative coordination.
The Assistant Parish Administrator works closely with the Pastor, Parish Administrator, School Administration, and parish staff to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and a professional environment that supports the parish mission. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership potential and a desire to grow in parish administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational support to the Parish Administrator across all administrative functions, including:
    • Human Resources: Staff recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, performance tracking, and ensuring compliance with diocesan and employment policies
    • Finance & Budgeting: Assisting with bookkeeping, reporting, and stewardship support
    • Technology & Communications: Helping maintain internal systems and parish-wide communication tools
    • Administrative Support: Supporting staff management, scheduling, project coordination, and ministry operations
    • Risk Management: Assisting with implementation of diocesan safety and compliance policies
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, ministries, and parish leadership
  • Participate in strategic planning and staff meetings
  • Act on behalf of the Parish Administrator in their absence as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Strong human resource management experience, including employee relations and policy compliance
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience in operations, office management, or nonprofit/parish administration
  • Financial literacy and familiarity with bookkeeping or parish finance systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative software
  • Practicing Catholic who embodies the values and mission of the Church
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
