Assistant Pastry Chef

  • Production & Preparation: Assist with the preparation of desserts, cakes, breads, and pastries, ensuring recipes are followed to specifications.
  • Decoration & Plating: Decorate pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision, and assist
  • Station Maintenance: Clean and organize the workspace, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment like ovens and mixers.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients (flour, sugar, etc.), report shortages to the chef, and help with receiving supplies.
  • Quality & Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Recipe Development: Assist in testing and developing new recipes and designs.
  • Operational Support: Support the pastry team during busy service periods and assist with training or supervising junior staff if required.
