THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and contribute to delivering world-class desserts and baked creations.

As an Assistant Pastry Chef, you will support the Executive Pastry Chef in the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency. You will play a key role in creating exquisite desserts that reflect the creativity and sophistication of The Ned Doha.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
• Support the Executive Pastry Chef in menu development and seasonal offerings
• Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in all pastry items
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in line with company policies
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control
• Train and support junior team members where required

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation
• Creativity and passion for pastry arts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Culinary or pastry qualification is preferred
