Assistant Pharmacist

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Pharmacist to join our growing healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will support the pharmacy operations while ensuring excellent patient service and compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.

Role Overview:

As our Assistant Pharmacist, you will support the licensed pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, assisting patients, and ensuring smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescribed medications accurately
• Support daily pharmacy operations and patient service activities
• Maintain proper storage and handling of medications and medical supplies
• Assist in inventory monitoring, stock management, and ordering processes
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, pharmacy policies, and safety standards
• Support patients with basic medication-related guidance under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field
• DOH License / Eligibility as Assistant Pharmacist
• Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional, patient-focused, and team-oriented attitude
