Assistant Physical Education Teacher

A leading Center for People with Disabilities in Qatar is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Assistant Physical Education Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about promoting physical activity, inclusion, teamwork, and overall well-being among students, including individuals with physical and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and delivering inclusive physical education lessons, sports programs, and recreational activities.
• Support students with diverse abilities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized assistance to students with disabilities to encourage active participation and physical development.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship through physical education activities.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to the development of appropriate physical activity programs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding procedures during all physical education sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet students’ individual needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, including experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods and activities to accommodate diverse learning and physical needs.
