Assistant Pipe Fitter – Job Summary

Primary Purpose

• Maintain and repair fixed equipment and machinery in refinery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in daily maintenance (flanges, valves, leakages, packing replacement).
• Perform valve maintenance inside and outside workshop.
• Disassemble, repair, and reinstall pipelines.
• Maintain steam boilers, including hydraulic testing.
• Participate in major overhauls and annual plant shutdowns.
• Operate hydro-jetting machines for cleaning heat exchangers, towers, vessels, and air coolers.
• Carry out cleaning of various refinery equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Education

• Industrial Diploma Certificate or 12 years of school education.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in refinery equipment maintenance and repair.

Age Limit

• Not over 45 years old.
