Assistant Planning Manager

Job Purpose :

The Assistant Planner will support the Planning team in analyzing business performance, managing inventory, forecasting sales, and ensuring optimal stock allocation to drive revenue and margin growth. This role is critical in converting business insights into actionable strategies across multiple departments and product categories.

Key Result Area :

Sales & Stock Analysis

· Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales and inventory performance.

· Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities at category, sub-category, and SKU levels.

· Prepare reports and dashboards for planning and merchandising reviews.

Forecasting & OTB Management

· Assist in seasonal sales forecasting and open-to-buy planning.

· Support replenishment strategies and ensure timely stock availability

Allocation & Replenishment

· Collaborate with allocation teams for optimal product placement across stores and online.

· Track sell-through rates and recommend replenishment or markdowns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work with Buying, VM, Marketing, and Operations for smooth execution of promotions and launches.

· Participate in trade meetings and seasonal planning cycles

System & Process Management

· Maintain master data accuracy in planning systems.

· Support inventory reconciliations and stock health initiatives
