Assistant Plant Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Plant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting plant operations, ensuring efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our facility. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet production goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow management

· Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures to optimize efficiency

· Supervise and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals

· Work closely with the safety team to enforce and promote a strong safety culture

· Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and drills to ensure a safe working environment

· Ensure all products meet or exceed quality and customer standards

· Participate in regular quality inspections and address any issues promptly

· Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

· Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing support to the team

Qualifications/Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred

· Proven experience in supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment

· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a desirable skill in this position.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
