The Assistant Pool Bar Manager supports the Pool Bar Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the pool bar, ensuring seamless service, elevated beverage experiences, and a vibrant yet refined ambiance. This role plays a key part in curating bespoke guest moments, maintaining Forbes-level standards, and driving revenue while fostering a highly engaged team culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in managing all daily pool bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

Maintain impeccable service standards in line with Rosewood brand expectations and Forbes Travel Guide guidelines.

Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency at all times.

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the pool bar area, adhering to HACCP and local regulations.

Deliver highly personalized service, anticipating guest preferences and creating memorable experiences.

Engage with guests actively to build relationships and enhance satisfaction.

Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring swift resolution and service recovery.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of pool bar associates.

Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

Conduct daily briefings and ensure team alignment with service standards and operational goals.

Coach and mentor team members to develop skills and career growth.

Assist in curating innovative beverage menus, including cocktails, mocktails, and wellness-focused offerings.

Drive upselling and revenue generation through product knowledge and guest engagement.

Monitor stock levels, control costs, and minimize wastage.

Support inventory management and supplier coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in luxury hotels or resorts, with strong exposure to bar operations.

Proven experience in poolside or beach club environments preferred.

Strong knowledge of beverages, mixology, and current industry trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
