Assistant Pre-K Counts Preschool Teacher

We are currently hiring for an experienced, energetic and caring professional to assist in the Pre-K Counts program in Pottstown, PA, working with a mixed age group of 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Must have a Preschool CDA or minimum of 60 completed college credits. Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of children? Sign on Bonus $300-$3000 depending on credentials. EOE

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities of the Assistant Teacher include:

• Enforcing rules to promote positive behavior
• Writing child observations
• Leading activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling and field trips
• Adhering to NAEYC and Keystone STAR 4 standards
• Attending to children's basic needs including supervising meal times, playground times and center time

Qualifications and Skills

• To qualify for an Assistant Teacher position, you must be energetic and have a positive attitude.
• A minimum of 60 college credits in education or the human service field or CDA
